Living in LawansonSurulere, Lagos
Lawanson is one of Surulere's busiest working-class corridors, dense with shops, buses, and foot traffic. It carries the weakest average in the district at 2.9 across 24 reviews. Water and security manage 3.3, but power scores 2.8 and the flood rating of 1.6 is the worst mark in the area's data: several streets flood badly when it rains. Rents are among the lowest in Surulere for a reason. If you shortlist a street here, visit it during a downpour first.

This street is all about movement. Plenty activities from okada to hawkers. Drainage is poor and rain really messes it up. Power is nothing special, but you can live here and still catch up with school or remote work if you have backup.
This Agbebi street no fine but people dey manage life for here. Work dey come small small. Na flood and bad drainage be the real wahala. Sometimes you go dey waka for inside dirty water. But if you dey hustle and mind your lane, you go blend in well.
If you don’t like noise, maybe this isn’t your dream street. But I’ve stayed here for two years now and adapted. Stores open early, plenty food vendors. The downside is flooding after serious rain and poor waste control. Still, the energy is unbeatable.
Living on that is street has been a lot of experiences especially in the aspect of flooding. The roads are good but the drainages are bad. The power is actually okay except when there's a major black out or the transformer is faulty. Though the security at night and in the evening is very risky.
